Michel Streich is a professional illustrator. Born in Germany, he worked in Germany then London for several years before moving to Australia in 2000 basing himself in Sydney. He has illustrated books for Harper Collins (UK), Macmillan (US) and Bertelsmann and Westermann in Germany. He also contributes to magazines and newspapers including The Bulletin, Sydney Morning Herald, Sun-Herald, The Age, the Australian Financial Review, Australian Gourmet Traveller, The Big Issue and the Financial Times.
